Great and delicious! Very accommodating to vegans and vegetarians. We got a nice big salad with avocado, a garlicy focaccia, vegan pasta dish with vegetables, and vegetarian lasagna. Pleasant quick service, nice neighborhood.

Bella Italia fulfilled every wish of mine. I wanted a good amount of protein but I was never able to get an equally big amount of vegetables... until I came here. I ordered the chicken schnitzel and it comes with two/four sides. I picked vegetables and a salad. The vegetables were perfectly, and I mean PERFECT, slightly crunchy, not mushy, and "fork tender." The salad was tossed with some olive oil and topped with pickled onions, olives, cucumbers and tomatoes... So good! My partner got the salmon pizza and he said that it was also the perfect size, not heavy at all. To top it off, we sat next to the window, with a view of the sunset. Also the service was on their game! I am lactose intolerant so I asked if the mushroom sauce had milk/cream/cheese in it and they said yes. They also asked if they should remove the feta from the salad! That's some forward thinking!! Amazing.

What a wonderful first experience eating out in Cape Town. Soft music, amicable and kind serving bartender and waitresses, delicious food (much better than I expected, thank you for the spicy addition!). Happy hour deal is really good and it worked, it kept me here for supper One table has a bit of a view of the mountain, and the whole ambiance was so tranquil for me. Thank you!

Dear Belle Italia As a regular and previously loyal client, I wanted to share some honest feedback regarding your new wine pricing. Charging R80 for an average red wine by the glass implies a bottle price of around R400 — yet the same bottle is listed at R230. This markup feels excessive and, frankly, leaves a rather bitter taste. Your house wine is now R75 a glass, and an Aperol Spritz is R90. These prices seem disproportionate and difficult to justify, especially given the quality. I’ve always appreciated your venue and offering, but these recent changes have been disappointing. I hope you’ll reconsider the pricing structure to reflect better value and retain your regular clientele. Warm regards, Not so happy client

We have just ordered on Uber Eats and everything we ordered was delicious! The pizza was a bit cold, but that's probably due to the drive. The pumpkin ravioli were incredibly good though! They also paid attention to all our special requests! We would definitely order again!

Lovely staff and delicious food!it was so lovely to be welcomed back after a year out of the country and to be remembered by the staff The special on Tuesday two for three is such a bargain. Vegan friendly pasta and you can make your pizza vegan by asking for no cheese. It’s no less delicious as it’s so full of fresh delicious ingredients. The vibe is quiet and cozy. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves good food

As an tourist I heard about this restaurant from locals. I went for lunch and again back for dinner. The food was prepared fresh and with great flavours. I ordered the avocado with prawns which was so yummy. Then the ravioli which was freshly made with the best tomato sauce. However the highlight was the Parma pizza. Flavoursome and big portions. All at a great price. The staff were amazing and the atmosphere with its Italian music and design were important to Carla the owner. She worked the tables to make sure we had a great experience. I certainly did and I would visit here again and again.
